24. Winter Soldier
Status: Prediction (already an NPC)
Similar to Nick Fury, the MCU has skyrocketed this character’s popularity, and its surprising that he’s restricted to an NPC role here. If they only decide to make a handful of NPCs playable, the Winter Soldier will be shoving his way to the front.
MCU Bucky was shown to be a ruthless killer while indoctrinated, getting the drop on Black Widow, killing Tony’s parents and going toe to toe with Steve Rogers. Once he turned good though, he lost a bit of his edge.
There’s no clear example of him being a worse fighter, but it just feels like he never really got a chance to shine. Even when he took on Iron Man, he needed Cap’s help.
Taking on the Black Order will show that he’s still got it though.
