Overview: Rounding out the Guardians of the Galaxy is Drax the Destroyer. The version of Drax that most people know is completely different from his comic counterpart. It'll be interesting to see which version the game draws inspiration from.

Drax used to be a human named Arthur Douglas. His car was attacked by Thanos after he suspects that its inhabitants had seen him. Only his daughter survives the crash and goes on to become Moondragon. Arthur's spirit is then placed in a powerful new body by Kronos, who needs a champion to kill Thanos. Thus, Drax the Destroyer is born.

Abilities: Drax has superhuman strength and agility, much like everyone else on this list. He also really wanted to kill Thanos for a while. That's something.

In-Game: He wields two swords in the game, which he uses to dice up anyone who stands in his way. That's one more sword than Gamora has, so Drax wins that non-existent competition between the Guardians.
