Marvel's Avengers: 8 Things Fans Demand
1. An Overall Story Leading To The MCU Of Video Games
When Spider-Man was first announced there were many interviews with the developers that filled fans with hope for something never done with video games before: Something many called "the MCU of video games", where Marvel video game properties would all tie in together to form an overarching universe.
It is of course entirely possible this was meant for Sony's Spider-Verse, where his PS4 game would spawn a universe of connected titles, but with so many easter eggs in Spider-Man that directly tied into the Avengers, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Defenders etc, we can hope for a shared video game universe across multiple gaming platforms.
Marvel's Avengers has not shown any signs of future games following its storyline, but hopefully there will be something in the game that proves a Marvel gaming universe could happen.
Perhaps we will only see the future of this interconnected universe in the post-launch updates for Marvel's Avengers, but certainly, this game will not be the last game that Marvel fans will get to play along with their favorite heroes and villains.
