3. Use The Mako In The Therum Boss Fight

Doing so makes the whole fight almost trivially easy, so only do so if you've already defeated the boss in the normal fashion (unless you're in the habit of ruining games for yourself). Drive to the gap where you're intended to get out of the vehicle, and steer directly into the gap itself. From there, start driving up the left rock until the Mako is entirely on its side, wedged. You'll be able to clear the gap by inching forwards using boosts. The enemies in the boss fight won't attack the Mako, and die to just a couple of shots from the vehicle.
