Depending on which character you romanced throughout the trilogy, the very whisper of Liara's name might currently be making you swoon. Even if she wasn't your lovebug-of-choice though, her spectacular arc as a former prisoner who ends up commanding a network of shadow-spies and crime-rings is one that desperately needs expanding on. Naturally in what's become a very Bioware fashion the origins of her position were seen in the DLC, 'Lair of the Shadow Broker', but aside from being an important point in her narrative it was more an excuse to finally show fans what the mysterious Broker looked like in the first place. If ME4 ends up being a sequel, Liara's fate as the keystone of crime in a galaxy potentially starved of it could be a very interesting angle for her to take - not to mention factoring in the time for a relationship with whoever you're playing as too.
