Mass Effect 4: 10 Characters Who Must Return

9. Kasumi

Over to a really cool character that was severely underused, but mainly because she came as DLC with part two and wasn't a necessary staple of the plot going forward. Many thought after the end of ME2's credits rolled there was no way Bioware would be able to keep track of the amount of potential beginnings ME3 would have, as a result of the staggering amount of actions and options you took throughout the finale. And they were right, characters you'd previously dedicated an entire game to romancing - like the biotic-bottomed Miranda for example - were relegated to side roles in 3, with the game's focus on making your custom Shepard into a 'proper' character taking precedent over whatever you'd done in the past. Kasumi's prowess as a badass sci-fi space-ninja made for an incredibly enjoyable side-mission in the first place, and should she be made available for a larger role, more espionage-by-way-of-conversation-options as she does her cloak n' dagger thing in the background would make for a brilliant variation on core gameplay.
