Over to one of the biggest fan favourites, and someone who gets the best final line in the entire game when just before going on his own suicide mission, he remarks that it "Had to be me, someone else might have gotten it wrong". It was the perfect send-off to a character whose quirks and general nature were something that were a joy to interact with, even providing an unexpected franchise moment when Solus bursts into song. Naturally thanks to him being evaporated in ME3 there's nowhere left to go in the sequel stakes, but prequel-wise like Thane, Mordin has a huge amount of information and intelligence to share. Namely he was the key scientist that helped engineer the Krogan-killing Genophage virus; something that's talked about at length, but being there as its happening and playing a part in the discussions that go into its ramifications would make for some awesome dialogue options. At the very least its an excuse to take Mordin on more missions or hear his post-evaluation reports where he goes off on any number of tangents, walking that line of affectionate nervous rambling and Sherlockian over-analysation with ease.
