8. Not Called Mass Effect 4?

Broken by Christian Today (so take this with a rather large tablespoon of salt) the rumour goes that thanks to ME3 being such a monumental spot on an otherwise fantastically squeaky-clean franchise, Bioware are looking to get away from numbered instalments, instead kickstarting an entirely new direction - starting with the basic 'Mass Effect' as a title. It feels way too soon for this sort of thing to be honest, but with other EA-published behemoth Star Wars: Battlefront doing the same thing, it's not unheard of.
