Mass Effect 4 Andromeda: 10 Things We Need To See At E3 2016

2. The Protagonist

Not much is currently known about the protagonist of Mass Effect Andromeda. All we know is that, like prior games, they can be either male or female and be customized to your preferences. But as far as their background, personality, and their relation to story, we are still in the dark.

Its about time we got a sense of who exactly well be playing as, and E3 should be used as a formal introduction to our hero. It doesnt have to be anything too explicit, but something as simple as a name is a long time coming. We need to see our hero in action in order to get a sense of how they play and what their goal is.

Obviously Bioware will want to keep the majority of the details regarding the protagonist under wraps, but were at a point now where we need a sense of what Mass Effect Andromeda is really about, and a significant part of that is the hero. With Shepard gone, the biggest question has always been who his/her replacement will be, and now is the right time to reveal that.
