As with any gaming franchise nearly a decade old and three entries in, there are certain criteria expected to be met and qualities expected to be retained in any new Mass Effect, many of which have just been outlined. However, with each new installment we also expect new additions and developments to be built upon the previously established formula.

Andromeda is no exception, and as much as fans want it to honor the design elements of the first three, to just deliver a technologically superior copy of those games would be a massive disappointment. While it is important for Bioware to assure fans of Andromedas quality at E3 through nostalgia, they should also wow gamers with new and unexpected advancements in the Mass Effect saga.

Additions such as being able to manually pilot your starship would be a momentous and universally praised new feature that would make Andromeda light years better than the other games in that regard. This is just one example; who knows what surprises Bioware has in store for us. All eyes will be on them at E3 in the hopes that something amazing will be unveiled to the elation of Mass Effect fans everywhere.

Are you excited for Mass Effect Andromeda? What do you think we'll see at E3? Let us know in the comments!
