Let's give them the benefit of the doubt for now, as don't forget, the original release date was later in 2016, only for March to get tagged on back in May.

Various interview snippets have had key figures inside Bioware saying they're 'comfortable' with the date, and being that Mass Effect 3 was released back in 2012, a four-year dev cycle would match up with how long the original Mass Effect took to make, too.
