4. More Enemy Variety

Although we're not expecting anything on a Dead Space or Xenomorph level some new designs would be great, scarier adversaries could really help ramp up the atmosphere and intensity.

But enemy variety doesn't just stop at aesthetics, new deigns also means new AI.

When foes change their behaviour and strategies that forces players to rethink their own tactics which changes how we interact with the world.

Given the sudden surge in invincible enemies pursuing players, like Resi 2's Mr. X how about an enemy that can't be killed and relentlessly stalks Samus? Maybe through the vents, similar to Alien Isolation? Simply by doing that stealth becomes the more appropriate course of action which isn't something Metroid has done much of.

It would be great if players had to rely on their minds and assets in the environment in combat instead of just relying on blasters and bombs.
