Minecraft: Xbox 360 Gets Confirmed Creative Mode And Expanded Map Size?
Minecraftians are receiving Creative Mode soon, and may possibly be getting the expanded map they've been hoping for on the Xbox 360
It's safe to say that there should now be absolutely no doubts in anyone's minds about when Creative Mode will be making a grand entrance into the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft. Fans will be happy to know that the popular XBLA port will be able to watch the new mode appear in their menus with title update1.8.2. This has been confirmed by 4J Studios via their official Twitter feed.. Oh Twitter, you've given gamers yet another reason to be addicted to the internet, haven't you? In addition to providing fans with information on the liberating building mode, 4J Studios hinted that they would be looking at expanding the size of the world map. This has been a complaint among many of the PC converted fans. Sure, the Xbox 360 version's map is quite big, but comparing it to the PC counterpart reveals the true world size shrinkage. Remember, it's not the size of the world that matters, but how you use it's resources that matters. It is important to remember the exact words of 4J studios:
"We do intend to look at that longer term"Sadly, we don't have a confirmation that the team will, without a doubt, increase the map size. For now fans will have to cling onto the hopes that 4J Studios' wording means that it will be coming at a longer time from now, and not simply that it will be an idea they "look" into. Now it seems that the only thing left to do is wait for an official release date for the patch. Source: Examiner
