Mirror's Edge Catalyst: 10 Reasons It's A Huge Disappointment

2. It's Really Short

If you take away the padded side missions, Catalyst sadly isn't much longer than the original Mirror's Edge, which was around the 5-6 hour mark.

Catalyst will clock in at around six hours for those focusing on the campaign content, and though this may be a relief to some given the disappointing end result of the game overall, it again just reeks of the title not having enough effort put into it to make it worth the current asking price.

Sure, the side missions can make it up to 9 or 10 hours if you're really dedicated, but this likely won't be most players, and as such it's best advised to just wait for a sale unless you're really desperate to play it.

Given the potential variety and diversity of the gameplay, it's a damn shame there's so little to the campaign, especially considering how samey the missions are for the most part.
