Monster Hunter: World - 10 Hardest Monsters (And How To Beat Them)
4. Bazelgeuse
You won't encounter this heavily-armoured Brute Wyvern until High Rank has been unlocked, but you need not worry about seeking the leviathan out - he'll come to you, wherever you are.
Unlike the rest of World's natives, Bazel isn't confined to a singular habitat (it roams wherever it damn well pleases) and will swoop in - usually when you're already locked in battle with some other beast - for a meet and greet whenever the moment takes its fancy. That being the case, you'll always need to be ready to deal with its ignorance of personal boundaries, but fear not, no special equipment is required for this fight other than balls of steel.
As the nickname suggests, Bazelgeuse can eject bombs from its underside to deter you from having a crack at it, but as long as you steer clear of their blast radius while also dodging the monster's nasty headbutt and dive slam attacks, the risk to your wellbeing should be minimal.
Do note, however, that if the bomber lets out a deafening roar and begins to glow, get the hell out of dodge. Bazelgeuse is about to go nuclear and no amount of defence will save you from the ensuing fallout.
