Mortal Kombat: 10 Absolute Worst Characters Ever
3. Reiko
Reiko is not only one of the worst Mortal Kombat characters ever, but he's definitely one of the most forgettable as well.
Starting out life as a general to Shinnok, Reiko received no fanfare and quickly became a running joke. He's another great example of a lack of creativity or individuality; his move-set is almost identical to Noob-Saibot and, for some reason, he's literally wearing Shao Kahn's armour!
In his first appearance, in Mortal Kombat 4, Reiko's ending saw him run into a portal - which was later revealed to show him putting on Shao Kahn's helmet. You'd be forgiven for thinking that means he's Shao Kahn without the helmet. Alas no, Reiko is nowhere near that interesting; apparently he just put on the helmet and, well, that's it.
Reiko was last playable in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon but he did appear in the MKX comic book, where he was killed off to make way for Havik. He has the potential to be a decent character, but truth be told, he seems like a dumbass; using another fighter's moves and another's armour.
Reiko isn't likely to be anything more than a joke for the rest of eternity.
