Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Characters We DON'T Want To See

3. Triborg

The idea behind Triborg is a pretty interesting one, but we'd much rather have human versions of the cyborgs than one mash-up.

That's not to say that Triborg isn't cool, but he's definitely the sort of character that should only really appear in one game.

Each of the three fighters that Triborg is replicating would be much more interesting as standalone fleshed-out characters than the combination that they were in Mortal Kombat X.

Being completely honest, the cyborgs are one of the most boring parts of the Mortal Kombat universe, and the characters have always been more interesting as humans. The only cool character to come from this was Cyber Sub-Zero, and even he wasn't really an improvement on the original.

It also wouldn't make a lot of sense for cyborgs to be in Mortal Kombat 11 considering Sub-Zero destroyed the cyber-initiative in between Mortal Kombat 9 and the last game.

Mortal Kombat 11 also introduces a customisable variation system, which probably means that Triborg won't be returning.
