Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Guest Characters We NEED To See

The 2017 reboot of IT is the most successful horror film of all time. Few would have seen that coming prior to release, but the movie was a tremendous blend of terror, tension, and 80's style kid comedy.

While Tim Curry's performance of Pennywise the Dancing Clown is certainly iconic in its own right, Bill Skarsgård brought a whole new dimension to the character, and made IT one of the most terrifying horror characters we've ever seen. Ever since that movie came out, horror and gaming fans alike have been calling for NetherRealm to include Skarsgård's version of Pennywise in the next Mortal Kombat game.

Pennywise is simply another persona of the unfathomable IT, a godlike being that can transform into anything it wants. That alone makes it perfect for Mortal Kombat, as Pennywise could perhaps take on the form of his opponents and their move-set for a short period. Beyond that he is fond of a werewolf persona, is virtually unkillable, has massive teeth, can teleport, and his red balloons could be used for distance attacks or be placed above the fighters and detonated at will.

NetherRealm could have tons of fun with Pennywise, letting their imaginations run wild, and we'd love to see what King-esque horrors they come up with.
