Jim Carrey blew audiences away when he brought Dark Horse Comics' titular character to the silver screen back in 1994, with his larger than life antics and over-the-top quips.

So imagine how fun it'd be if he were let loose in the Mortal Kombat announcer booth for a few rounds. Much like Deadpool, The Mask was always breaking the fourth wall convention, so the same formula could be carried over into the fatal fisticuffs at present.

What better way to follow up any flame-related attacks/finishes than with a famous "Ssssmokin'" from the green-faced 'superhero'? Or better yet, inserting himself into the background to be tagged in as an environmental attack? The possibilities are there...
