2. DLC Fighter Packs Are Inevitable
DLC has joined the vaunted list of taxes and death, as life's only inevitabilities. As such, you can bet your big toe that Mortal Kombat XI will feature two or three DLC Packs.
On a positive note, NeatherRealm has proven with previous Mortal Kombat games, and Injustice, that it knows how to do DLC right. MKX introduced Jason, Predator, and Leatherface, while Injustice 2 gave us Black Manta, Hellboy, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those are some incredible additions to the series, and it gives fans reasons to be excited beyond the original release of the game. As such, you can expect a swathe of new fighters to appear in MKXI post-launch, and we even have a list of who we think they might be.
