Mortal Kombat 11: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
8. Shao Kahn
Finally being playable outside mods and in a 3D incarnation of MK for the first time, it sucked that Shao Kahn was resigned to a pre-order bonus. Still, the full extent of his abilities are easy to get your head around and master, to say the least.
Almost all of his larger combos peddle off one button, encouraging you to experiment outside of the stock moves list, and that's before you factor in a devastatingly effective spear-throw, alongside a distance-closing hammer smash that cuts right through the majority of defence.
NetherRealm clearly wanted us to play Shao Kahn in a "muahaha, kneel before Kahn" kinda way, and from front to back, he feels spectacular.
