20. Cassie Cage

God I love Cassie Cage.

Seeing NetherRealm create the only type of person that would emerge from a Johnny Cage/Sonya Blade marriage, Cassie is cocky but self-aware, strong and combo-heavy, but with the backup of an additional drone and scores of pistol flurries.

Her base attacks are all super simple to memorise and combine, but it's in keeping the pressure on and flicking through them like lightning that makes Cassie SO much fun.

MK 11's roster is stellar across the board, but out of the four "Kombat Kids" from MK X, I'm thankful Cassie and Jacqui made the cut.
