Mortal Kombat 11: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

21. Baraka

Mortal Kombat 11 Baraka
NetherRealm

Considering this was the "big return" of Baraka (and he gets one of the best fatalities in the game), his moveset feels almost confined by the old school.

Spike-arm flurries? Check. That one spark-based projectile he's had for years? Check. The Baraka you know and love? Check and mate. A solid return to form I'm glad to see, but not much more.

His "War Banner" is ultimately a missed opportunity, too. Requiring you to equip a slew of moves in the Kustomisation screen to actually use it effectively, it means Baraka's "big new ability" is more commonly just a damage buff... providing you're standing next to it.

Considering Baraka's very visual is Mortal Kombat through and through, he should be up there with Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but NetherRealm still have a lot of work to do.
