Mortal Kombat 11: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
18. The Kollector
Another newcomer effortlessly injected into the canon, The Kollector first appears as a gold and trinket-hoarding thief, loyal to Shao Kahn and battering all those in his way with whatever he can get his hands on.
His moveset reflects this scattershot, makeshift approach, seeing his six arms produce everything from assorted weaponry to lanterns and keepsakes, all resulting in bursts of colour and claret at every turn.
However, where the character takes on a whole new degree of awesome, comes with his arcade ending. It turns out his allegiance with Shao Kahn was borne from necessity, as the entire Naknadan race were under Shao's fierce rule.
Only The Kollector fought back, pinching pennies to give himself some semblance of worth, knowing that "everything [he] took was owed to his people".
A brilliant subversion, and I can't wait to see more of this guy going forward.
