Sareena was introduced in 1997's Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero. Serving the sorcerer Quan Chi, she was a demon who eventually encountered the first Sub Zero, Bi Han.

She later aided the cold assassin in thwarting the Elder God Shinnok's plans for Earthrealm. The demon would then aid Bi Han's brother, Kuai Liang in Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition as well as participate in the Battle of Armageddon.

It's interesting to note that Sareena, despite being on this list, has actually been only playable twice. While she first appeared in the spin off game, her first playable entry was on a Game Boy Advance port of Deadly Alliance. She would then make a proper appearance during 2006's Armageddon which featured every fighter in the series back then.

Sareena also made a small supporting role in Mortal Kombat X's Story Mode. Serving as an informant for the Special Forces, she aided Earth's heroes in stopping Quan Chi. But despite this, Sareena has yet to make a return as a playable character.

With her interesting relationship with the two Sub Zero brothers and her nature as a demon, Sareena needs to come back.
