Even if you were a die-hard fan of Mortal Kombat II, you may have missed this Easter egg since it only exists on the Mega Drive port. After performing a cheat code on the Menu Screen, you can perform a secret finishing move. After defeating your rival as Raiden in the Armoury Stage, press "back, back, back, block" after the Announcer shouts "Finish Him/Her" to perform a Fergality.

At this point, you may be wondering what the heck a Fergality is? Well, when you enter in the above combination, your rival will transform into a mini-version of Fergus McGovern. McGovern was the founder of Probe Software.

The company developed many games including Out Run, FIFA Soccer, and Mortal Kombat. The funny thing is MKII isn't the only game that references McGovern. If you get a low score in Trantor: The Last Stormtrooper, you will receive a message which reads, "Is that you, Fergus?"

But there is still one question that keeps gamers awake at night. Does performing the Fergality do anything? No. Not at all.

Is it hilarious and ridiculous? Yes. Yes, it is.
