NBA 2K16 Player Ratings: 10 Best Point Guards
No prizes for guessing first place, but how do Westbrook, Kyrie and CP3 stack up?
At the moment, there is no more exciting position in the NBA than point guard. We are fortunate enough to be in the midst of an era of ball-carrying greatness, with exciting new talents such as Damian Lillard mixing it up with old hands like Chris Paul. Then, of course, we have those in their prime. Last season saw Steph Curry and Russell Westbrook both firmly in MVP contention, with Kyrie Irving and John Wall not too far behind. NBA 2K16 looks to incorporate a new player rating system, which has seen everybody's stats generally scaled down and condensed. Not only does this bring the ratings of current greats such as LeBron James into line with that of the game's many playable legends (as opposed to last year, which saw James dominate with an ungodly score of 98) - it also means that there's much less wiggle room to separate players from one another. With that in mind, deciding on the top ten point guards must have been incredibly tricky for the 2K team - especially in such a prolific period for the position. Thankfully, they look to have done a remarkably good job. Only one name stands out as having a bafflingly high rating, but other than that, scores look to have been dished out in a fair, justifiable manner. Here are the ten highest rated point guards in NBA 2K16.
