The NBA’s most famous franchise has undergone something of a makeover over the last few years, with little success to show it must be said.
Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has now stepped away from the court, while NBA hall of famer Magic Johnson is now President of Basketball Operations.
Things though are starting to look a little rosier for the Lakers. Armed with a host of young talent which includes the likes of Brandon Ingram, Jordan Clarkson, and Larry Nance Jr, the future looks in good shape in L.A.
However, the big splash made this summer was the addition of number two draft pick, Lonzo Ball. Not since Lebron James came into the league have we seen such a fuss made of a young player, and evidence in the NBA Summer League suggested there is every reason to be excited.
The Lakers added good experienced players in Brook Lopez and Cory Brewer during the off-season too, but it’s the addition of Ball which will draw fans of 2K into picking up their control pads and selecting the Lakers.
