Players Out (position, rating, contract value/length, age):

Alex Abrines (SG, 72, $5.46m/1, 25), Abdel Nader (SF, 67, $3m/2, 24)

Players In (Cleveland Cavaliers):

Kyle Korver (SG, 74, $15.06m/2, 37)

Why:

Having jettisoned the disastrous Carmelo Anthony, retained Jerami Grant and Raymond Felton, and made two astute acquisitions in Nerlens Noel and Dennis Schroder, OKC are well equipped to improve upon their 2017-18 fortunes, when the franchise made the playoff by the skin of their teeth. They could still use a sharpshooter, though, and that's where the deadeye Korver comes in, with second unit spot-fillers Abrines and Nader acceptable sacrifices.
