Overkill the developers for Payday: The Heist have revealed they will be working on a collaboration with Valve that will involve the Left 4 Dead franchise. Overkill Game director Ulf Andersson made this statement:As perceptive gamers will have noticed, several hints have recently been dropped into PAYDAY The Heist, which has led to various rumors. We are excited to be able to confirm that an in-depth collaboration between OVERKILL and Valve is currently in production. We are working on a very cool blend of PAYDAY and Left 4 Dead. I am sure it is so exciting that it will have some players check into the hospital before we are done.As of right now there is no further information on the game or what it might even be, but I will take a stab in the dark and say the game will be a Left 4 Dead game that will use characters from Payday: The Heist. At this stage though, that and any other guesswork is nothing more than total speculation. In addition, I wouldn't expect any announcement at E3 about the game because Valve is not scheduled to be at E3 this year. So it may be a while before we hear anything about the game. Andersson did leave one final message for fans: Keep an eye out for more on this infectious and developing story. I would like to here some of your suggestions as to what this game may turn out to be, will it be a full Left 4 Dead game or possibly a new level that includes Payday: The Heist characters?
