Nintendo NX: 10 Essential Video Games That Must Be Launch Titles
8. F-Zero NX
The legendary futuristic racing franchise hasn't had a new entry since 2004's widely-panned GBA title F-Zero Climax, and the last core title on a home console was in fact the GameCube's acclaimed F-Zero GX the year previous.
Shigeru Miyamato has expressed apathy about the series in recent years, saying last year of a new title, "If we create a new type of controller interface, and we find a controller interface that's particularly suited for F-Zero, then maybe we'll do something with it in the future."
That doesn't sound massively encouraging for a game fans would like to see released alongside the NX next March. Granted, a lot could have changed in the 18 months since Miyamoto made this remark, but don't get your hopes up.
