Nintendo NX: 7 Reasons Why 2016 Release Is A Bad Idea

You don't need to look very far back to realise that mega flop consoles happen. Many people are already drawing comparisons between the current Nintendo situation and the Sega Saturn/Dreamcast mess. Fans complained that the Saturn lagged behind the market in hardware, it lacked a great deal of 3rd party content, and the system generally wasn't easy to develop for. Sound familiar? The Saturn was very quickly dropped to make way for the Dreamcast, in the same way that the Wii U is about to be very quickly dropped to make way for the NX. Nintendo won't vanish from the hardware market like Sega did, but rushing the successor hasn't ended well in the past.
