5. Holo-Lens

It was hard to watch the holo-lens demonstration of Minecraft at E3 without picturing Nintendo throwing themselves all over it. That, right there, is pure Nintendo. You can just see the Super Mario Bros. levels mapped out and ready to play already. It may be too soon for the NX, but I'd happily slap a wager on Nintendo trying their hand at large-scale holograms in the very near future.

The possibilities are endless once you get into the territory of games that literally come out of the screen. It's actually one of the features I'd most love to see make an entrance to the gaming world. Imagine roaming around the Metal Gear map with holographic 3D plans you can move and zoom into? It's a technology that would work on 'hardcore' consoles, but Nintendo would be making a great move if they went in that direction before the rest of the crowd.
