Nintendo Switch: 10 Awesome Games With Overdue Sequels

Golf Story is one of the most unique and fun indie titles on the Nintendo Switch. It's a top-down, narrative driven golf game with a farcical and deadpan sense of humour. And it's far too awesome to be a one-and-done title.

Now, it's no secret that golf games are for a niche audience and most gamers start to fall asleep at the mere mention of them, but Golf Story is special. It's nothing like any golf game you've ever played; It's old-school Mario Golf mixed with a little Moonlighter.

So, basically, you play as a decent golfer who is rotting in complacency. A tournament arises that offers to allow him to fulfil his father's wishes, and so he sets out to become the best golfer in the land. And what a funky little land it is; there's standard levels with regular old golf courses, then there's an orange one with neanderthal characters, and a purple one graveyard with goths.

Golf Story is a confident and quirky indie game that will have you desperate for a sequel. And there's so much potential for one; more unique courses, more RPG elements, and lots more of the same. Though, to be fair, we'd also take a Tennis Story.
