Mei has the dubious honour of being the owner of one of Overwatch’s most controversial skins, Mei-rry. Whilst, at first glance, the costume seems completely harmless, simply being a santa-inspired recolour, fans were not impressed at the rather basic skin being given Legendary status. What makes the skin worth 3000 coins you ask? Well, it transform’s her ice cube-like self-healing ability into a festive snowman. This was not deemed to be worth the high price point and was met with considerable backlash.

Thankfully for Mei, her other Legendaries are rather good, particularly the brilliantly nonsensical Beekeeper (perhaps Mei has an otherwise unmentioned apiarist hobby) and the stunning Luna. The latter is particularly gorgeous, decking the character in a beautiful red and gold garment to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Her recently released Jiangshi skin transforms her into a Chinese hopping vampire, but, whilst there are some who view are ice abilities as demonic, a character a sweet as Mei deserves a skin as exquisite as Luna. It really is a-Mei-zing.
