PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Xbox One: 15 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You
7. Weapon: How Mods Work & Changing Firing Modes
One of the biggest deviations from Fortnite, gameplay-wise, you can upgrade all of PUBG's weapons with a number of different, optional mods.
Scavenged on the battlefield like anything else, to equip you want to pause with the Menu button and LB/RB across to your own backpack. From here, just hover over mods and you'll see the requisite slot on your weapons highlight if it can be attached.
A tap of A does so, but don't worry if nothing lights up - it just means the mod is for a different weapon. The most common are extended clips and better sights, so again, exploring a wider radius can benefit in the long run as you're better equipped for combat.
Secondly, a tiny but essential thing to note is that tapping left on the D-pad will change your weapon's fire rate. I cannot stress how devastating the UMP's full-auto can be, and though single shots and bursts are better over long range, sometimes in a life or death situation you just need to spray and pray.
