It’s the Switch isn’t it so obviously we’re getting motion control functionality. Thankfully though, this doesn’t look like being the main element of the game play and more a nice option bit of fun. From what we’ve seen in the trailer you’re going to get to throw Poké Balls around your living room in a similar catching system to Go.

For those new to the console - and who didn't own a Wii - this presents a number of complications for in-house breakables. Lamps will be smashed, glasses will be spilled, if you're not very spatially aware the learning curve is steep.

You’d also imagine - and indeed a few places are reporting it already - that there’ll be a heap of mini-games and in-world features that use it as well.
