Pokémon Sun & Moon: 10 Forgotten Features That Must Return

3. Changing Seasons

Changing seasons were mysteriously absent from Pokémon X & Y, which was a strange move given how simple it must be to code them into the game. In generation five, seasonal changes added a dynamic evolution to the world around players, helping the region really come alive and look great.

Now that a few 3DS entries are in the can, it would be good to see Pokémon Sun & Moon strive for a little more polish and bring this appealing feature back. While the new region does seem to be based around a very sunny climate, subtle seasonal differences could still look great on the 3DS' world and even in the battle scenes.

Seasonal changes did also have practical uses as well, with creatures like Deerling having their appearance altered depending on the current season. This was a nice touch for the series, and is simply another reason why changing seasons should make a return for Sun & Moon.
