2. The Secrets Of The Share Button
What does this weird, poorly designed button do, exactly? Many people have wondered this since 2013, and many more have accidentally pressed it during a tense boss fight, only to for it to delay their inputs and have them killed. But hey, at least you got a screenshot.
Ultimately, it’s a multi-tool for capturing moments and if you like, sharing them. By default, screenshots are a long press of the share button and a short press will save a clip, screenshot and show the menu. A double press will set a start point for a video to be saved. This means that, instead of saving the last 15 minutes, it will mark the beginning of the recording for the next 15 minutes.
An interesting idea but from my experience, one that could be more of a signature feature of the system overall It is admittedly, nice to have.
If you want to quickly capture a weird glitch and send it to a friend, or take a screenshot of your clan after your first raid completion, you can do that with minimal stress and a single press of a button.
