PS5: 10 Reasons You Should Be WORRIED
6. Lack Of Information
The bigger problem is why Sony isn't sharing more details about the PS5. Back in 2013, Sony was eager to get away from the PS3 and wipe the slate clean. Another generation meant a new chance for success. Now that Sony is on top, the company doesn't want to let go of this generation.
The competition isn't standing still however and waiting too long with talking about the next console might hurt Sony more than they want to admit.
While Sony is keeping its cards close to the chest, Microsoft is getting people excited about the next-generation Xbox. Not only are they talking about the console with flashy words, but they are also showing the features of what next-gen is going to be.
It's hard to strike the right balance between having people excited about your product or having them angry for not talking more about it. People are starting to sour on PlayStation right now. By not delivering anything substantial the fans might switch sides to the console that is showing off.
Simply put, it's time Sony started to show off the PS5.
