PS5 Reveal Event: 7 Ups & 6 Downs
4. No Silent Hill Or Crash Bandicoot

As much as we should consider video game pressers for what they do show rather than what they don't, two much-loved PlayStation video game franchises were conspicuously absent from the PS5 event.
First off, the long-rumoured Silent Hill reboot no-showed despite buzz in the days leading up to the event that it might finally be unveiled.
Considering how long fans of the survival horror franchise have been waiting for a new game, that was undeniably disappointing.
And then there's Crash Bandicoot, another series basically accepted to have a new title in development, yet despite rumours of a planned unveiling during the event, it was nowhere to be seen.
Again, it's worth reiterating that Sony has plenty of time to reveal these games in the coming months, but dammit if fans of each franchise aren't mighty thirsty to simply know for sure that these games are definitely in production.
