Rainbow Six: Siege - 8 Major Annoyances Every Player Knows
1. Not Playing The Objective
Too many players focus on the team deathmatch aspect of each gametype, forgetting about the other way of winning: securing the biohazard container or hostage, or diffusing the bombs.
This is a problem that affects both the attackers and defenders. Defenders frequently leave bombs and hostages unprotected, allowing attackers to run in and grab the hostage of diffuse the bombs. Attackers will focus on killing the defenders even if the hostage is clearly in position to be secured and evacuated.
Players on both teams often misunderstand the time limit around such objectives, and defenders will all sprint out of running distance from objectives, so that should the attackers enter the objective, there is enough time for it to be secured before the defenders can mount a counter attack.
Operators who are disadvantaged at killing, such as Montagne, may be very useful in situations where the enemy does not need to be killed. Monty can extend his shield over a diffuser, and if his back if against a wall or protected by a team mate, he is unstoppable.
