Rainbow Six: Siege - 8 Major Annoyances Every Player Knows
2. Reinforcing Walls Between Bombs
Precious wall-reinforcers are wasted on the walls between bombs. Not only does this often leave outside walls unprotected, but the diffuser may be placed at a bomb such that it instantly becomes very defensible and hard to destroy.
Using impact grenades and shotguns to destroy the walls between bombs is usually a better idea, as this makes it much harder for carriers to place the diffuser without coming under fire.
Unsuspecting attackers may enter a bomb site, unaware of the missing wall. This leaves them momentarily as sitting ducks, unaware of their surroundings. Destroying walls between bombs also prevents the defenders getting separated. Often the attackers will only attack one bomb site, but it may be highly impractical for defenders at the other bomb site to provide assistance to their team mates.
Destroying the walls between bombs also prevents all of the defenders focusing on one bomb site and leaving the other one unprotected. Instead, the space expands into effectively one bomb site, which is much easier to defend and be aware of any attackers in position to diffuse the bombs.
