11. Jak III

The "worst" instalment in an otherwise flawless trilogy, Jak III only gets knocked down thanks to not having the focus of the first or second instalments.

Aspects like having Jak birth a "Light Eco" state to match his Dark one from Jak II or the retread of unlocking the same weapons over again wasn't the best, but the main issue came from electing to have the majority of travel come by car, rather than the flying vehicles from Jak II: Renegade.

This felt like a step backwards, especially when handling was prone to flipping you out mid-race, kicking you back to the start to try all over again. Add in a much less interesting series of locations and even a stellar ending couldn't save Jak III - though of course, Naughty Dog's blend of platforming and gunplay was still a delight.
