Ranking Every PlayStation Classic Game From Worst To Best
16. Mr Driller
If Mr Driller feels a little like Dig Dug, that's because it is. Originally intended to be Dig Dug 3, the game was adapted into the Mr Driller fans know and love (well, a least moderately like) today.
That's not a criticism, of course. Of the thousands upon thousands of arcade releases ever put out there, Dig Dug still stands up as one of the best. While Mr Driller maybe can't quite be put on that high a pedestal in the console world, it did add some new concepts. The coloured blocks added a Tetris-like feel to gameplay, and the oxygen mechanic was a great feature in upping the ante from Dig Dug.
Also, considering the huge leap in graphics from the PS1 to the PS4, Mr Driller's cartoony style means it looks nowhere near as dated as a lot of games on this list. Not many were clamouring for this title to feature, but its ease of play might see it become a surprise favourite.
