4. Wear Your Bandana

If you're about to cause some chaos or have a feeling you might soon be encountering a gunfight, it's sensible to equip the bandana from your items menu, as this will protect your identity from the fuzz and make it far easier to traverse the world hassle-free.

Just remember to remove the bandana when you enter settlements and converse with the locals, though, or you'll either end up in a fight or be flat-out refused service.

Because the game doesn't really explain this feature, you'll probably realise its importance a little too late after Arthur's face becomes wanted in a few states, but the sooner you can get into the routine of donning the bandana while on manoeuvres, the better.
