Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Unsolved Mysteries That Will Freak You Out
8. The ManBearPig
The ManBearPig is the name given to a manmade mutant found within the game, a grotesque creature made up of various animal body parts stitched together and hung in a Christlike crucifixion position on the back wall.
The name comes from a similarly freakish creature in South Park dubbed the ManBearPig, and the name has stuck for this monstrosity to. In an abandoned house near the Van Horn Trading Post, you can only gain access by climbing in through the window, when you’ll find this ugly mug staring back at you.
There’s another link to the creature too, covered in a later entry, which suggests it may be over a decade old and would therefore have been stuffed and mounted.
Within the house, you can find various items and letters which suggest that several other failed experiments were made before this ‘masterpiece’, although you’ll find no trail to follow to track its creator down.
The creature might just be the most disgusting thing you can find in the game, and that’s really saying something. This freaky dude is enough to give you nightmares, but it’s a shame there’s not more of a mythology to dive into.
