Though everything has been overhauled for Red Dead Redemption 2, it's the new and improved brawling system that's the most tantalising. Obviously, getting into bar fights and throwing drunks out saloon windows is par for the course in the Wild West, and Rockstar have doubled down on the amount of control players have over fistfights in the upcoming sequel.

While the actual hand-to-hand combat was briefly shown off in the trailer, it's the array of moves available that you might have missed. When chasing somebody down or grappling, prompts pop up in the corner which let you decide how to proceed. For instance, you might want to just wail on them, but you can start choking them out instead if you want.

There were a couple more options glimpsed in the reveal (including an ever-present "threaten" button), all pointing towards Rockstar's attempts to capture the dirty scrappiness of the best Western brawls, and giving you far more combat options than ever before.
