Resident Evil 4: 25 Mind-Blowing Things You Didn't Know

11. Where Ashley's Remake Costume Came From

The recent run of Resident Evil remakes have been really clever in using concepts that originally hit the cutting room floor.

For example, in RE2R, Leon's "casual" look with the jacket seems to be carried over from artwork from the original RE2's development, and the same can be said about Ada's big, brown "definitely not a spy" coat. Mr X's newfound love of headwear is actually based a sketch for a different tyrant from Resident Evil Outbreak too.

The latest of these revivals is Ashley's look. In the files of RE4, gamers found an alternate costume for the President's daughter of a red coat and scarf. This appears to have been the basis for her new look in the upcoming remake - a further great call-back for diehard fans to appreciate.
