Resident Evil 7: 10 Biggest Fan Demands Capcom Must Include

8. Classic Characters

To say that fans were disappointed when fan-favorites Jill Valentine and Claire Redfield were left out of the fun in Resident Evil 6 is a bit of an understatement, as these ladies are two of the most popular characters in the entire RE universe. Leaving them out of a game as huge as that one was quite a disappointing move by Capcom, as the game lacked a truly interesting female voice. Not only has Ada Wong run her course, but Helena Harper wasn't much to write home about. It would have been beneficial to have Jill or Claire in on the fun. Not only that, but Claire's presence in the numbered installments has been lacking since Resident Evil 2. She's been the focus of a few spin-off titles, such as Code Veronica and the upcoming Revelations 2, but Claire's time in the spotlight has been severely limited. It's rather mystifying, especially when you look at how Capcom seems to have become very stubborn about it. With Resident Evil 7, it's time to step back and let fans have the reunion we've wanted for years.
